Both HIPPY and PAT are evidence-based program models, each with a significant body of research, conducted over decades, that show a consistent set of results for those served.

Highlights

HIPPY and PAT were both included in the list of only 7 models that met the highest level requirements for evidence-based programming under the Maternal, Infant and Early Childhood Home Visiting Program under the Affordable Care Act (health care reform).  An external national research firm systematically analyzed 8,200 research studies on more than 250 home visiting program models, naming only 7 to the list.
