CoBiz Financial grants COLORADO PARENT & CHILD FOUNDATION $5,000
The Colorado Parent & Child Foundation is excited to receive a $5,000 donation from CoBiz Financial. CoBiz Financial serves businesses and business owners through its business lines Colorado Business Bank, CoBiz Insurance, CoBiz Wealth, Financial Designs and Green Manning & Bunch. Based in Denver, with 550 employees in Colorado and Arizona, CoBiz and its employees are invested in the community through volunteerism, the employee-led CoBiz Cares Foundation, and the Biz Bash, a concert fundraiser that has raised more than $2.7 million for at-risk youth in 11 years.
CoBiz is proud to support Colorado Parent & Child Foundation because “the mission – inspiring parents as their child’s first teacher – pays dividends in our local community,” said Tara Tongco Rojas, Communications Specialist. “In addition to smarter and healthier families, for every $1 invested in the education of a child, the return on investment is about 10% per year due to reduced need for remedial and special education classes; reduced need for police and judicial system activity; reduced public spending on health care; fewer people in need of social services supports and increased tax revenues from productively employed citizens.”
A huge thank you to CoBiz Financial for its donation which will support our work across the state to provide parents of young children with the knowledge, tools, and support they need to guide their child's growth, learning, and development.

As Brian Astone, Finance Director-Asphalt & Paving states, "the work that the Colorado Parent & Child Foundation performs, and the manner in which it is performed, makes it a good fit for partnership with Lafarge West, Inc."
A huge thank you to Lafarge for its donation which will support our work across the state to provide parents of young children with the knowledge, tools, and support they need to guide their child's growth, learning, and development.
